Observation

Based on the information gathered at the site visit and interviews with the child care staff, Community Colleges of Spokane ECEAP staff and referent, the licensor has determined that there have been times when staff said things that could have been taken as a threat, for example " you will do this or else". Based on the information gathered at the site visit and interviews with the child care staff, CCS ECEAP staff and referent, the licensor has determined that there is insufficient information to find that there was inappropriate physical discipline/interactions - no pinching, throwing, grabbing or yanking - by the child care staff or management staff.; and children are not made to stand in the corner. Based on the information gathered at the site visit and interviews with the child care staff and referent, the licensor has determined that it meets the WAC requirement for a child to sit for a few minutes to help manage their behaviors or emotions.
